Acupressure magnets

When I first looked at this product I was wondering if this could really help people quit smoking. Being a massage therapist, I’ve studied meridian points in the body and have used acupressure points. Acupressure has the potential to be very effective.

I have noticed that the placement points of these magnets correspond to the charts I’ve seen various places about acupuncture and acupressure points for smoking.

These ear magnets are called Auricular Therapy, a non-invasive form of Acupuncture, operates on the same scientific principles without needles! Auricular Therapy stimulates points in the ear and activates the production of neurotransmitters in the brain to minimize the desire to smoke.

This is what caught my eye. Because if this works, and they guarantee it, I would do
the following. Along with this product I would walk around with a straw and draw air through the straw when I felt an urge for a smoke high. Because that is what you get from the cigarettes, the added oxygen from deep breathing in the tobacco smoke and if you must have something in your hands to stay busy the straw will work just fine. Only now you’re not inhaling nicotine, just good, clean fresh air.

Also near the bottom of the ear lobe inside the ear is supposed to be another endorphin release point if massaged. Some smokers I’ve worked with talk of a “high” when they smoke. So knowing how to relax and release endorphins naturally is the way to go.The main thing is you have to quit smoking, the sooner the better. If I can help in any way please let me know. I just found these on eBay. They look similar to the ones above, some are gold plated which is very fashionable.
